Calm and Clarity through Practice

This workshop offers practice to gain a calm and clear state of mind. With a calm mind, a reflective state of being is experienced.
- Organized by Yoga Room Kathmandu -

We will work on different postures (asanas) and stay in them for an extended period of time to allow the mind to draw inwards and experience the equanimity of mind it induces. At the same time, we create the basis of balancing and healing our physical body.
This workshop will enable you to use these basic practices in your daily life to invite calmness of mind and, in the course of continued practice, to gain more clarity about yourself.

Day 1 (26 January)

  • 7:00 a.m. Departure from Kathmandu
  • 9:00 a.m. Reaching Vishuddhi Alaya
  • 9:00-10:00 Refreshments (Tea/coffee + fruits)
  • 10:30-12:30 Posture session
  • 13:00-14:00 Lunch
  • 14:00-16:00 Hike through the villages and surrounding forests
  • 16:00-16:30 Tea break 
  • 16:30-18:00 Breathing practices (Shvasayama)
  • 19:00 Dinner 

Day 2 (27 January)

  • 7:00-9:00 Posture session
  • 9:30-10:30 Breakfast 
  • 10:30-11:30 Film/documentary on Yoga
  • 11:30-13:00 Restorative session
  • 13:00-14:00 Lunch
  • 15:00 Departure to Kathmandu
